Fundraising

Hi, would you like to buy a car wash? I must have said this 100 times or more today.

Why? We are raising money to send 20 some teenagers to Phoenix, AZ. (My 3 included.) The first of August they are headed to National Fine Arts competition. They will meet up with about 7,500 other teens and show the talents God has given them.

So to get there...

They will...

Wash cars, crack eggs on their heads, have bake sales, bus tables at local restaurants, sell waters to joggers... whatever they find to do.

If you have any suggestions let me know. I'm listening...

My Today,
Christy

"Skip a Night Out"-Idea: Instead of people going out to dinner, cook at home and the night out $$ they would have spent, donate to the kids. Kinda of a "Night In"

1.) Hold up the church. Have the kids come out 'unexpectedly' dressed as old skool bank robbers. Guns will be required. You also need those money bags with the "$" painted all goofy on the sides. Have them kidnap the pastor or worship pastor and demand enough money to get to Pheonix or else!
2.) Charge a toll for parking in the church parking lot. Put tickets on everyone's cars and as they leave they have to pay to get out. You could have a kid with a 2x4 painted yellow and black... he could raise and lower as the toll is paid!

Rocky -
I want you to try out those fundraisers at your church first... lol
Then let me know how they go. They do sound adorable, but I'm thinking Gary will say... Ahh, NO!
I wanted to get paid to roll houses, but it seems the city frowns upon such activities. lol
